- They should give examples: "My Mommy packs me lunch, everyday." "My Mommy takes me to the doctor when I'm sick." "My Daddy protects us."
- The teacher should teach them the importance of showing respect towards their parents, and being polite, and using our manners when addressing them is very important, and that behavior makes us better human beings.
- This is our way of showing that we are grateful for all we receive.
- The children should also be reminded to be respectful towards their brothers and sisters as well!
- The teacher should create a situation where brothers and sisters interact in a negative, disrespectful way, and the provide the children with a solution.
- When treating others with respect, you get a different reaction from people, the reaction you want!
- The teacher should let the children watch a puppet show where the puppets are used to demonstrate a situation where two puppets treat one another disrespectfully!
- The teacher should pair up the children, and let them demonstrate how they can provide the solutions for the problems the puppets portrayed, by listening carefully to what the other puppet is saying, and by treating the other puppet with respect!
