Preschool Activities On The Elephant

The preschool elephant activities will be enjoyed by all! The children will enjoy learning or listening to the reading of the poem, developing their auditory skills and cognitive senses.

The preschool children will enjoy learning the poem, doing the "elephant actions," developing their confidence when participating in role play!

Elephant Poem: "Elphant Walk:"

  • Plonk on this foot,
  • Plonk on that,
  • Swinging my trunk,
  • Swinging my trunk.
  • I'm out in the Jungle
  • Without any hat,
  • Plonk on this,

  • Plonk on that!
  • I'll go to sleep
  • In the shade of a tree,
  • Nose on knee,
  • Nose on knee,
  • And no one will know
  • That it's only me,
  • Nod and nod,
  • Sleep and sleep.

  • Ruth Sansom.
