Effective Preschool Art Activity - Giraffe Activity Preschool


Preschool Giraffe Activity:

Preschool giraffe activity will provide the children with a lot of enjoyment!

The children will develop their fine motor skills during the activity: cutting, tracing, and painting. Have fun!

Materials needed for the Activity:

  1. snappy-little-zoo
  2. Colored Cardboard (Color suitable for a Giraffe.)
  3. Or Colored Poster Paint and Paintbrushes.
  4. Template of a Giraffe.
  5. Scissors.
  6. Glue.
  7. Black Marker Pen.


Procedure:

  • The children will firstly trace the giraffe template.
  • Next, they should cut the giraffe's legs loose from the left, down wards and from the right, down wards.
  • The children should glue a strip of cardboard on the dotted line, from left to right, between the giraffe's legs.
  • They should then use the permanent black marker pen to draw eyes for the giraffe and a mouth -, and a nose opening.


  • Last, the children could splay the giraffe's legs, in order for the giraffe to stand.
  • The children can paint their giraffes, and set them aside to dry.
  • Hold a class exibition with all your creations.
