Effective Preschool Games Gross Motor Games
The preschool children will enjoy participating in this simple gross motor games, stimulating their gross motor muscles and develop muscle streangth at the same time! The wheel burrow game will strengthen their shoulder muscles, which is a prerequisite for a good pencil grip. The Wheel burrow game:
They should form pairs. One of the two will lie down on his stomach with legs apart, placing the palms of their hands flaton the floor, next to their shoulders. The other child will stand between the legs and lift the legs off the floor. The child will attempt walking on their hand palms, with the other preschooler holding on to their ankles, and guiding them from behind. The children should not attempt to run and be careful not to hurt one another. Enjoy!

- Egg, could be replaced with a Tennis bal, for the number one player.
 
Procedure:- This is a group activity and the classes should be divided into two. Let one group be the spectators, and the rest the players. The spectators and players should exchange during places half time.
- The children will place their hats in a straight line, about half a meter apart.
- The children will line up opposite the hats with approximately five meters between the children and the hats.
- Player number one, with the tennis bal, will move along side the hats and place the tennis bal in any hat, the player chooses.
- At that point the rest of the players will run away and the owner of the hat will have to run and get the tenni ball from the hat and aim and try to strike a player (be careful not to hurt one another!)
- The player who was hit will be the next one to drop the tennis ball into the hats!
Activity 3: Leap Frog!Leap Frog is a simple game but children love participating in all games, and this game will be enjoyed by all! The children will enjoy the gross motor game on the frog month theme! An additional benefit is the children will strengthen their gross motor muscles while playing the leap frog game.The game should ideally be played outside on the grass wheat her permitting! The children should be de vided into two groups, before the start of the game.
Procedure:- One player will start the game by bending down with their hands placed firmly on their knees, facing the other player's side ways.
- The second player will run towards the first player and jump over the first player by pushing with both hands, onto the first player's back.
- The second player will then join the first player in bending down and a third player will come running towards the first player, and so the line of players bending down, will grow and every time a new player joins, he will jump over a longer line of children bending down.
- The child who first bends down should have an opportunity to jump over more players. Enjoy!
Activity 3: Ring A Round The Roses:
The preschool children will sing the song, while holding hands, forming a circle. The children will fall down when singing: "atishoo, atishoo, we all fall down".
Song: Ring a round o Roses: Ring a ring o' roses, a pocketful of Posies. Atishoo, atishoo, atishoo, we all fall down!
