Effective Preschool Birthday Activities

The preschool birthday activities will present the children with creative, and enjoyable activities, and develop their perceptual skills at the same time!

Activity 1: Creating Face Paint:

This is a fun activity to get the party started, when children painting their faces! Have fun!

Ingredients Needed for the Activity:

1. 2 Tablespoons of White Shortening.
2. 5 Tablespoons of Cornstarch.
3. 1 Tablespoon of Flour.
4. 4 Drops of Glycerin.
5. Food Coloring.
6. Mixing Bowl, and Bowls for Colors.

• Mix the shortening, cornstarch, and flour in the mixing bowl, into a paste.
• Add the glycerin to make a creamier consistency!
• Divide the mixture into three or four bowls.
• Add the different colored food coloring to each bowl.
Create bright colors.
• The face painting can begin, but do avoid the eye area

Another fun activity that can be done before the birthday party, or could form part of the birthday party activities!

Materials Needed for the Activity:

1. Colored Squares of Cardboard Paper.
2. Stapler and Staples.
3. Candy to Fill the Bags.

• The children will take the colored squares of cardboard paper and shape candy bags with them, moulds the bags around an upside down cup.
• Staple the sides together.
• Cut strips of cardboard paper, and add a handle, staple to the candy bags, at both sides.
• Fill the colorful bags with all kinds of candy. Ready forthe birthday party guests to arrive!





Activity 3: Birthday Party Face Makeup!

This is a simple but very enjoyable activity for the preschool children, and they can participate in the making of theface makeup, before applying! Enjoy the Party!

Ingredients Needed for the Activity:

1. Cold Cream.
2. Different Colors Food Coloring.

• 
Method:

1. Place several bowls, with about two table spoons of cold cream in them down, and add to each bowl, a view drops of food coloring.
2. Mix the colors and cold cream, and you have your very own face makeup!
3. Do not allow the makeup to close, to the children's eyes.
