Effective Preschool Bible Activities Christian Bible Activity
The preschool bible activities will teach the children a new prayer, as well as stimulate their perceptual skills. The children will be made aware of Gods' wonderful creation, and we can praise and worship God with words: in songs, psalms, and prayer. 1 Chronicles 16:9 says, Sing to Him; tell of all His wonderful acts. The preschool children will develop their auditory skills during the activity.
Materials needed for the Activity: - wiggly-giggly-bible-learning-centers
- Bible.
- CD Player and CD: Cedarmont Action Bible Songs CD.
- Prayer Poem.
- Paper, Triangular Shaped Profile Pencils.(Ideal for improving the preschool child's grip.)

Procedure:- The teacher will explain to the children there are many ways to praise and worship the Lord, through singing songs, praying, and worshipping the Lord.
- The children will enjoy singing the action bible songs.
- The teacher will read from the bible: 1 Chronicles 16:9, Sing to Him; tell of all His wonderful acts.
- The teacher will explain to the preschool children, from the bible we learn, the Lord teaches us to praise Him in song, poems and in prayer.
- The teacher will teach the children a prayer.
Prayer: Spring Prayer: For flowers that bloom about our feet; For tender grass, so fresh, so sweet; For song of bird, and hum of bee; For all things fair we hear or see, Father in heaven, we thank Thee! Anon.
The teacher should encourage the children to learn the prayer and to say it together, or individually.The children could draw all the beautiful things in nature, mentioned in the poem, for instance: flowers, grass, birds, and bees.
They could discuss the different sounds, mentioned in the prayer.The children should also discuss the things one can see, mentioned in the prayer.The teacher should explain the vocabulary used in the poem, for instance; bloom, tender, fair, Thee.The children should explain why, and for what we should be thankful.The prayer could be repeated in different tones, high voices or low voices, in order to explain the concept of "sounds" further.
