The preschool children will enjoy the language art activities, at the same time stimulating their auditory and oral senses, while listening, learning and reciting the poem!
Poem activities form an important part of language development.
Preschool children identify with topics based on their reference world such as colors, pets, animals and nature in general, home, items in and around the home, family, and so on. Role play will develop their confidence, and they should be encouraged to participate! Let the children enjoy themselves! Activity 1:
Procedure:- Let the children sit around the teacher in a comfortable way. The teacher should create a relaxed atmosphere.
- Recite or read the poem to the children, and show colorful pictures of shoes or real shoes as mentioned in the poem.
- Let the children listen attentively and ask questions to encourage their partisipation and enjoyment.
- Present the children with masks and let themexpress themselves when given the opportunity torole play the poem.

Activity 2: The preschool children will enjoy the language art activity, stimulating their visual observation -, auditory -, and fine motor skills during the activity. Creating "feely" letters. Can the children guess the letter from feeling their shape? The children will develop their sense of touch during the activity.
Materials needed for the Activity: - Thick Colorful Felt Material.
- Trace Alphabet Letter Shapes, and Cut the Letters out.

Procedure: - The teacher should trace, and cut out the alphabet letters onto the colorful, thick, felt material.
- The teacher should revise the alphabet letters with the children, as well as the primary colors used for the letters.
- The teacher should let the children sing an alphabet letter songs, and say alphabet letter rhymes.
- The teacher should blind fold a child and let the child "feel" or "trace" the alphabet letter, one at a time, trying to identify and recognize the letters.
- The children should take turns to be blind folded and play the "feely" alphabet letter game.
